Brand Spankin' New Shoe... [Misseh!] « Thread Started on Apr 14, 2008, 8:12pm »
Of course it was the cover of night time, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to come out, being a vampire that burned in the sun and all. Tonight his hair was as black as the night itself, almost shoulder length by now, long enough that he required a ribbon to tie it back from his face when riding. He was dressed as any gentleman would have been in these times, in a pair of pure white breeches, which made his pale skin look almost as if it were tanned or something. Above that he wore a black, loose shirt, tucked into his breeches, with a dark golden waistcoat buttoned perfectly down his front, showing of his incredibly slim, yet manly, figure.
He was riding his dark bay mare, a hunter type as most called her, named Eliza. She was well build, and though she was not an overly heavy horse, her legs were perfect, thick and strong enough to easily hold his, or a man twice his size's weight, and yet they were quite slender, enough that she could have easily been a lady's horse. Her black, curly mane and forelock was scraggly where it hadn't been brushed, her tail quite smooth, though that obviously hadn't been touched either. This one had a fiery spirit, though it was one that could be easily damaged, it was partly the reason why Gabriel had her, no other man could handle her.
Lucifer had spent the day galloping around the fields on not only his fit little horse, but others too, those that he had borrowed briefly from the stables. He had been driving his house keeper insane with the fact that he couldn't be still for a moment, and had been spurting mad ideas all day. Though he was no calmer when he met up with his brother, once the sun had dipped beyond the horizon, he was in more control, most likely because his attention was being taken up. Though the two of them possessed the same features, being twins, he looked a little different from his brother, almost like a negative photograph.
His breeches were a solid black, perhaps made of a softer material than Gabriel's, one couldn't tell. His shirt was a soft white cotton, held in against his body by a black satin waistcoat, exactly like his brothers, only it was black instead of gold. His brown hair, as long as his brothers, was also tied back in a ribbon, though he had nearly cut it earlier, had Gabriel not begged him otherwise. He was riding his dappled grey gelding Dez, slim, but pretty much built like a brick wall. He was bouncy and full of energy, just like his owner, and was with Lucifer because he needed to be ridden and exercised so much, no one else had the energy for him.
Gabriel rode in front, relaxing as they came up to the barn where the farrier and blacksmiths operated from. Giving a nod to Lucifer, rarely did the twins have to verbally communicate things to each other, he got off his horse pulled his mare's reins over her head. Handing Eliza's reins to Lucifer, he walked inside, talking with the farrier. "I've come to have two horses re-shod, a mare and gelding." He talked for a little longer, before the farrier told him to bring in Eliza and Dez. Gabriel went out to his mare, and brought her in, motioning for his brother to follow.
Quickly following his brother's actions, he swung his leg over the saddle and slipped off easily, not having as far as his brother to go. Apparently Dez was roughly four inches shorter than Eliza, and sometimes you could see it, considering they were built so different. Lucifer just took Eliza's reins without looking at Gabriel, waiting boredly as his brother sorted out the money and things like that. When his brother came back, he pulled the reins over his own gelding's head, and led him inside the barn, hoping he would perform better with new, comfortable shoes.

Loretta had been sent by her boss to fetch some wears for thier shop he was having made at the blacksmiths it was some ornamental weapons and some candlesticks wrought from blackened metal they held a gothic look about them and loretta liked them alot herself.
She was a strange girl, a newly turned vampire only 2 years turned, she fdound it hard she hated tyhe way she was and found it hard to control herself she would feed from animals stealing from farms in town and even rats she found in the streets, stray dogs anything apart from humans. though sometimes if it became too much she would have to feed on them and then she could be in such a rage she would kill five in one night. It was hard to stay hidden but she managed. she worked in a shop that sold astetic items for hhouses in town and earned barely enough to rent a small apartment.
Tonight her long blackish hair was let loose and curled slightly around her face, she wore a simple purple gown and a pair of slippers to match them. she entered the blacksmiths and jumped a little nearly walking straight into lucifer,

Lucifer had been standing, completely involved with watching the man shoe Eliza's perfectly formed hooves. So far had his attention gone, that he almost didn't notice Loretta till she suddenly appeared WAY too close in his field of vision. "Ah!" He squeaked quietly, his grip on his gelding's reins tightening for a moment, before he realised he had completely tensed up, and forced himself to relax a little. A smile drifted over his cute features as he saw who she was, and realised there was something slightly different about her. Perhaps she was like his brother was, a vampire.
"No mind ma'm. I see you're here without a horse?" It was his inquisitive mind begging to know what she was doing here, if she was not coming here to have her horses shoes seen to.
Gabriel glanced over briefly as a commotion seemed to be going on with his brother. Those happened so often these days that sometimes he barely bothered to even look over. He would have known anyway if his brother had been in real danger, his vampire senses told him these things. Plus that and the twin thing that all twins seemed to have. He smiled at her, though he quickly looked back to his horse as she nudged him, he knew that was her way of telling him not to let his attention wander.

"Well i um"
She said a bit unsure of what words to use, this had been trhe closer entrance to the way she had come the entrance to the blacksmiths shop was around the other side, but she had decided to cut in here tno thinking about it bieng full.
"I have come to collect some wares"
she said looking around the room, it was large and dirty and terribly hot, though the heat didint bother her much. She fiddled with the sleeve pf her dress in a nervous nature her skin was terribly pale almost to the point of being transparant. she hadnt eaten tonight and in all honesty she did not feel hungry right now either. this could be dangerous though and lead to her experiencing a blood rage in a few days time.
"Excuse me"
she said to lucifer as she took a step back realising she had still been stood so close and walked around the horse to talk to the farrier who might know where her items were.
"I was told tonight, he will not be happy"
She had been informed that the things she was collecting were not ready yet, this was bad news, her boss would no doubt take this out on Loretta.
