Rayne was in a thoughtful mood tonight, she felt alone and like she wanted quiet. She had walked the streets for two hours now and thought her feet didint hurt they felt heavy and flattened form all the treading pavements. She came to the graveyard, a soft breeze brought smells of herbs and scented flowers from the church near by. she decided to stop for a while amongst the other dead citezens of new orleans.
She took off her shoes and walked over the ground her feet feeling cooled by the dewy wet grass. she found a crypt and jumped on top sitting with her long pale legs cross dangling over the edge.
Tonight her hair was down as usual but it was curlier than most nights, she had tied it up the day before to give it more body, it looked wild and she too looked like a wild animal, like a cat watching for movement with her green eyes. Her dress was elegant and simple, a long black gown with an open back and low front her pale white skin almost opposite yet complimentary.

He wore a black leather jacket and a black t-shirt. He was built like a god and wore sunglasses at night time. Odd. Go figure. He was on a large magnificent white Andalusian which contrasted his outfit and the aura that surrounded him. He exuded confidence, power, and strength. He was unawares of Rayne having not seen her yet.
He was a traveler and had just arrived in these parts. He halted his horse and glanced around. That's when he noticed Rayne far off sitting on a crypt. He motioned his horse towards her. "Miss are you lost?" Sebastien always liked to help others that were in need. With the powers that he possessed, he felt obligated and his duty to protect the others. He had a big heart for the innocent.

Rayne said simply, not angry or defensive but truly wondering if she looked lost, she didint think so. she felt like she belonged here with the corspes and corsses. it was quiet and seren, she liked it.
"I am not"
She said to him. she stood from her sitting position her long legs supporting her weight with ease as she balanced on the edge of the crypt, it was about 9 ft tall and could be a bad fall if she were to be stupid enough to let her steps falter, but Rayne knew that it wouldnt harm her, well not seriously, she coudl recover from most mortal wounds after all being a vampire.
"Though you on the other hand sir, you do not look like you belong amongst the dead"

He smiled charmingly at her. "I could say the same about a woman, but since you feel comfortable in a graveyard. The oddity of the world yet surprises me still." He teased her.
"But I agree, I am not one to play in a graveyard, but I guess you could say I grew up here in this town and my foster parents that raised me well are buried here. I usually pay my respects when I am in town." Sebastien watched her.
"I've never met you before though and I know I would never forget a face such as yours."

Rayne felt a little impish tonight, shge wanted to play games and perhaps irritate him a little, though he didint seem to annoyed so far.
"Sounds like a fair enough reason to come here, no flowers though?"
Rayne made a mock tutting noise and turned in a circle spiiing her dress moved with her making a swirl of fabric as she turned to face him once more.
"You have never met me, you had been fortunate until now i suppose, and now you have seen me im sure you will never forget"

"You seem so sure of yourself there. I might forget fleetingly yet recall only if I'm in a graveyard." He shot at her.
"Flowers would have been a very nice touch yes, but this weary traveler has not made it into town yet. That will cause for another trip out here for I usually do bring flowers."
"Die you bitch!" Something landed on the ground in between the crypt and Sebastien's Andalusian who reared a little, but settled with his rein. "Easy." Suddenly smoke emitted from the odd looking thing and stunk of garlic. "What the..." He glanced at Rayne. "Must be pranks from a kid or two."

She said with a wink She nodded about the flowers, she liked flowers but never bothered with them usually and no one had bought her flowers in a while, Sephiroth had that one evening they had gone out, but not for a long time before that and not since. She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair.
"If only pranks was what it was"
Rayne said as she looked around spotting the hunter who was stupid enough to think garlic worked, a silly superstition from stories in europe, her home country.
"You think that will work you stupid little boy?"
She shouted at the man hiding in the hedges not far away. She jumped down from the crypt it was as it sebastian and his horse were momentarily forgotten, the only thing on her mind was finding the cheeky bastard brave or stupid enough to come attack her on his own. She dropped her shoes where she had landed not giving a thought to wether sebastian would think it strange the jumped down from 9ft high without a flinch. She got close to his hiding place, she was playing with him pretending she didint know where he was when she knew exacvtly where he was hiding.
"come out come out where ever you are, i promise i wont hurt you, i'll make it quick"
She giggled a little her fangs lengthening as she got closer, she could smell his fear and hear the throb of his heart in hsi chest.

Sebastien had watched the jump and his eyes widened. His gaze followed her. He didn't know where she was going and then it dawned on him. Was she going after the kids that threw the little stink bomb. "You are wasting your time. The kids have probably run off by now."
Sebastien dismounted and picked up the garlic bomb and tossed it thousands of miles away from them. He glanced in the girl's direction. How did she jump down and not get hurt? Was she like him? Did she have special abilities? However he couldn't explain the uneasy feeling he was getting. Something about her didn't seem right.
He used his xray vision to look at her more closely. What he saw or didn't see moving caused him to take a step back. Vampire. So the man that through the bomb was in trouble.
Sebastien ran fast intercepting Rayne to stop her, but he ended up getting an arrow laced with silver embedded into his back. Of course all it did was cause pain, but nothing else. He dropped to his knees and pulled the arrow out of his back but the arrow had broken off and was still in his back.
The hunter made a run for it and glanced back trying to shoot another arrow at Rayne. His fear esculating as he knew he was dead. He was running out of arrows for having missed her and shot the man.

Rayne wasnt watching sebastian, she had sort of forgotten, in a funny mood that night her eyes was just zeroed in oen the hunter. she Saw Sebastian stand infront nof her and had been about to shout at him when she saw him get shot with an arrow, well that was the last straw, she took off, she ran faster than a human could see. her hand closing around the hunters neck she felt him gasp and struggled and but he grip didnt loosen.
"Your blood isnt even worth drinking you poor excuse for a human"
she whispered to him as she hedl him there dangling infront of her. she hissed at him showing her fangs seeing tears well in his eyes. she wanted badly to have fun with him but she felt bad for the man who had been injured because of her.
"Your lucky i already fed tonight you disgusting little runt"
She dropped him and was going to let him go, that was until he turned around and pulled a blade made of blessed silver from his leg and slashed at her, he caught her across the stomach and a second slash caught her fore arm, her blood spilt out onto the green grass and she retaliated her long nails slashing his throat, the humans blood now drenching the ground Rayne turned to head back to Sebastian. She was bleeding and felt dizzy but would survive.
"are you hurt?"

she said with a grimace as she stretched her arm, she cuts would heal but it would be slow and she needed blood. she would be fine, just in pain.
"i will be ok, blessed silver weapons hurt like a bitch, but its not lethal"
She knealt down beside him examining the wound, she coudl smell his blood, it smealt different to normal human blood. she frowned but didint say anything.
"Well now you know, though dont believe the books most of it is made up. I can remove it if you can stand the pain"
She would have to use her nails but she would get it out. otherwise it might get infected or something. she of course didint know what or who he was.
"Seems he didnt know who i was"
Rayne knew that wouldnt make sense to sebastian since he didint know who she was either, but nevermind.

"Pain is nothing for me. If you are willing to pull it out, then please be so kind. The pain is worse with the thing remaining inside." He grimaced as she removed the arrowhead. He stood when she was done. His own skin rapidly healing as he stood. He turned around to face her. "Now I see why you are comfortable around a graveyard in a way." He gave an attempt at humor to lighten the mood.

Rayne threw the arrow head from her the metal burned her finger tips slightly, she hated blassed items, strong though she thought that she could enter a church and stand in a graveyard supposed hallowed ground. nevermind.
"They are my people"
She said with a shrug, by all human reasoning she should be dead and buried by now having lived for thoughsands of years, soemtimes she thought it would just be easier to roll over and die.
"I suppose i would be more in Limbo though, hard to find on earth, my name is Rayne"

His blue-green gaze lifted to her face. "Pleasure to meet you Rayne. I am Sebastien." He whistled for his horse, Aztec. "Would you like to ride to town with me? Or do we part ways here and I never see you again, Rayne." He smiled warmly at her.

Rayne stood up looking at his horse, it was a gorgeous creature, she was still yet to get her own horse, though she woudl love one she hadnt met one, and some horses could sense the power in a vampire and were intimadated by it.
"I dont know if riding is a good idea, but i can walk with you if you like?"
Rayne needed to head into town, she had to feed her wounds were not healing as fast as she would like, and her dress now had a large slash across the stomach.
