Damien had not been aware he had been pulling her. "Fine from now on, I will do no such thing." He was getting tired of her independent streak. He rather liked a woman that allowed him to do something this his way. "I need a drink, if you feel so inclined to following me to the bar then I will treat you to a drink as well." He turned and headed for the bar then ordered a beer. Part of him didn't want to stay any longer and try to court her.

Gwen got the feeling he was annoyed with her and she didint like that she had upset him, but she couldnt change who she was. she wasnt just some pretty little girl who was going to be led merrily down some road. she sighed and followed leaning on the bar she ordered herself a strong glass of whiskey, she was away from her previous work place now so she could get a bit looser. no one knew her here so it was alot easier.

She wanted to ask him why he was so mad with her but she decided to just stay quiet, she didnt need to fight.

Damien glanced at Gwen. "I don't know if our personalities are going to merge well with the others. Even though I admire your independent nature there are somethings a man wants to be able to do for a woman."

She looked at him with her fiery eyes and shrugged her shoulders.

"i had enough people try and run my life for me, i have come here to live my own, if you do not see yourself as part of it then that is your choice,"

She was upset he didint want to try to get on with her. she was sweet and kind just she didint trust easily and she wanted someone who had the same fire she had, someone who wanted to fight her almost. she in truth did not know what she really wanted, but she did not want to be some mans toy.

He read her mind. "I don't want you to be my toy, baby. I just want to be the man sometimes and cherish you. I didn't mean to pull you around. I wanted to hold your hand and I couldn't wait to get you into my arms. I apologize for I had no idea you felt forced. Find someone else to bring you home. I'm gone." Damien was furious. She got his motions all wrong. He left the bar quickly. Dismounted his horse and rode off.

Part of him knew he couldn't do more with her because she was human and he was vampire. He realized he shouldn't lead her on when he knew they didn't have a life together as a normal relationship would.

He wasnt the onyl furious one, Gwen felt used almost, she had gone more than she had done with most men with him, she had let herself be taken with him, she had tried to let him see her for who she was and he had gone. she finished her dirnk and left the bar.
